Function: squeezeMomentum()

squeezeMomentum(source, options?): SqueezeMomentum

Defined in: indicators/src/factories.ts:1535

Squeeze Momentum (LazyBear's) — a squeeze is on while the Bollinger Bands sit inside the Keltner Channel, off while they sit outside, and neither in between; the momentum is the end point of a least-squares line over the close's distance from the midpoint of the Keltner window's range and its sma. Three branches: momentum, and two marker rows — squeezeOn/squeezeOff are 0 while their state holds and null otherwise, so both null means no squeeze (and the warmup).

The Keltner here is the script's — sma of the close, sma of the true range — not this package's keltnerChannels (ema and Wilder's rma), because the squeeze is an inequality between the two bands and a different channel turns it on and off on different days. The script's own quirk — multiplying the Bollinger deviation by the Keltner multiplier — is not reproduced: bbMultiplier does what it says. Set both multipliers equal to match that screen exactly.
